This tape cant be true...I know for a fact that they have never sat down like that before...Even if they did, it wouldnt have been taped..They are the best of friends...Lets just say it was taped I'm sure it wouldnt be in the possesion of the church mother...When you said he handed Gerald Heyward his but did you mean to spell it incorrectly?? Holla at your boy...

I hate to dissapoint you but Calvin & Gerald have NEVER sat down before...I spoke to Gerald and told him about this and he just laughed because they never even sat down before...There are some drum battles with him and Aaron Spears, Lil John, Teddy Cambell, Jermaine Parrish, Eddie Heyward, Erick Tribbett, Brian Moore, Eric "Booty" Green, Dana from Bmore, Will Parker, Chris Dave, Tim Steele and Buggy from DC, Jeff Lesley, "Big"Mike Clemens, and Spanky to name a few...From time to time they all get together and shed with each other...The energy is incredible...Its good to see so many cats that are really doing there thing...No egos...No hating...And definitely no talk of who is better than who or who got blazed by who...Its all love there for real...Gerald is the one who puts it together...He'll have like 4 blazing kits in a room and cats just play for hours and hours...Sometimes until the sun comes up...You talk about some incredible battles...Whew!! I'm not talking about something I heard but something that I actually saw myself first hand...You really cant believe everything you hear...Tell your man to chill with that...Peace...

IN RESPONSE TO BG, I HAVE ALSO WITNESSED THAT SHED THAT GERALD PUTS TOGETHER. IT'S LIKE A DW FESTIVAL CAUSE GERALD PUTS OUT 4 HOT DW SETS AND LET THE PEOPLE GO FOR BROKE. THE BEST ONE I HAVE BEEN TO WAS THE ONE THAT CHRIS "DADDY" DAVE CAME THROUGH AND HE PUT ON A CLINIC. AND THOUGH EVERYONE WAS THERE TO PUT IN SOME SHEDDING TIME, EVERYONE WAS JUST IN AWE OF THIS AWESOME DRUMMER. HE IS THE TRUTH PEOPLE. HE WAS DOING SOME SIDESTICK (RIMSHOT) TECHNIQUE THAT WAS WAY OFF THE WALL AND EVERYBODY'S MOUTH JUST DROPPED. HE IS DEFINITELY SICK WIT IT FOLKS. TRUST ME. THAT SHED IS ACTUALLY HELD AT HEZEKIAH WALKERS PENNSYLVANIA CHURCH IN BEN SALEM.

What about Michael Shrieves people? Geez, he was young and didnt get enough credit due to his short career. Anyhow, for those of you who dont know who he is, he was Santanas drummer for quite sometime. Well known for his crazy appreance at woodstock 69' I recommend Soul Sacrafice drum solo. P.S, he was only 16.

Everyone is talking about chops and tricks are there any hot drummers that play pocket? Remember 2 and 4? one name Lil' John Roberts. Originally from philly now lives in ATL. Dont sleep on him. Ask anyone who went to Berkley. Projects include: George Duke, Eric Essix, Janet Jacksons Velvet Rope tour. If your not sure, ask all the big cats, They will own up. Do I have a witness?

Wait, Wait , Wait Wait!!!!
yall' are talking about lots of drummers, but most of them you guys know or have talked to. You don't know Everybody!!!And as a result, you need to find out about Jonathan Carter out of Oklahoma City! this kid is bananas!!!!! I'm a marketing major and a publicity person for Western Hills Fellowship Church of God in Oklahoma City. Jonathan has been playing for the praise team, the choir, and the group encouraged for about three years now. He's 19,softspoken, and calm, but when he get's on stage "it's a wrap"!!!!!. Hecan put these guys in the church or on cd's to shame. He sounds more like gospel drummer Marvin Mcquitty, but still regulates his own style. So when you guys talk about Calvin or Gerald , make sure you mention Jonathan Carter of OKC!! to God be the glory!!!!!
